There are a couple spots at Kaleidoscope that are worth checking out and Regal is one of them. Decided to see a movie with my date yesterday which was really great! Haven't been here in years and was surprised to see how much this plaza hasn't changed which isn't a bad thing at all. We got to the plaza around 7pm and found parking immediately! Most of the lower level was closed due to it being a Sunday. The Jump n' Jammin is completely empty and the Yogurtland was closed for the night. We didn't venture more into the plaza cause we had a movie to catch. The top level of this plaza is where the fun is at! I was happy to see Riptide was still in business! They also have a center called union market and a buffalo wild wings. Would love to stop by to check these places out when they're open! One thing I recommend is taking off the big sign advertising Jump n' Jammin unless you plan to bring them back. Overall my date and I had a very nice time at the movies. We'll be back to check out some of the other attractions in the plaza.
Good movies, always lots of seating. Recliner seats are nice but they are shredded and need to replace them. My go to theater since it's near my house but the plaza is ufortunately empty compared to my youth. Solid experience, good service, but a little sketchy
Situated across from the Shops at Mission Viejo and the 5 freeway, Kaleidoscope is an outdoor shopping mall where food and entertainment are co-located to produce a "one-stop shop" of venues. Sadly, there are a lot of vacant spaces, which I hope turns around one day because this is a prime spot to be in. As of May 2023, these eateries are open: - Buffalo Wild Wings - Dry Society - Hana Korean BBQ | Been here. Kalbi (Korean BBQ short ribs) is phenomenal. Service is inspiring. - Locca Churros + Teas - Panini Kabob Grill - Riptide Rockin' Sushi & Teppan Grills - Sal's Pizzeria - Sana's Curry Bowl - Slice Shabu - Sol Agave | Been here. Agave Osso Buco is the dish to order. Their margaritas are delicious. Now, they also have other stores such as... - Edwards Cinemas - Laser Land - Burke Williams Spa - LA Fitness Not an all inclusive list, but it's what I've seen open. THE KALEIDOSCOPE FEELS | It's an enclosed shopping plaza which reduces vehicular noise from the adjacent freeway and Crown Valley Parkway. It has the potential to be more lively if more shops moved in to occupy the empty spaces, but my introverted side is loving the peace and quiet. The evenings are beautiful with lighting strewn across the top floor and a long fireplace lit up for warmth. THE PARKING SITUATION | Parking is free and attached to the shopping mall. If you can, park on the 5th floor and take the escalator up to the 6th floor where most eateries are located. WOULD I COME BACK? | Yep. I've only been here a few times but I like the atmosphere and I'm on this low key goal to try every restaurant they have.
This is a review mostly for the movie theater. So basically this is a unknown hack. Get a Regal Unlimited pass and go to the Theater in this center. All of the seats are soft reclining seats. I may kick myself later for giving up the secret once this place starts getting busy again.
